<note type="misc">The vesperies extant in ms. Worcester, Cathedral Library, Q. 99, ff. 69rb-69vb, have been attributed to him by A. G. Little, who also edited them. The title is a simple Vesperie and it is immediately followed by another question titled Inceptio Baldeswille. The attribution is purely based on the proximity of the two and the logical order of vesperies – inception (aula), which makes the authorship probable. The vespera is marginally annotated with seven names attached to different arguments for and against the question: Hicham, Kirkeby, Carmelita, Stratton, Bucfast, Wedersfild, Feversham. At least Hicham and Feversham were already regent masters at the time of Baldeswelle’s graduation, which would help see this question as the second vesperial disputation. However, the fact that it is not certain this is Baldeswelle’s graduation makes it impossible to determine one way or another.</note>
