vesperae.author.education	Bartholomew of Urbeveteri studied at the University of Pisa, where he was bachelor in theology in 1386. Two years later, on the 15th of September 1388, the prior of his order arranged with the Roman provincial to bring a regent to the convent for Bartholomew’s licence.
vesperae.work.notes	The only witness to his vesperies is the recommendatio that Simon of Cascina gave at the event, and which survives in ms. Vatican, Barb. Lat. 710, ff. 5105va-106vb: “Vesperie quas feci in conventu Pisano pro magistro Bartholomeo Tebaldi qui legit ibi pro forma.”
