vesperae.author.educationEverything we know about John of Trussebut is related to his vesperies, which he held at Cambridge, sometime before 1285. He was both a candidate to the title of magister, and a master presiding over the vesperies of frater Simon predicator, whose question was determined by the archdeacon Ralph of Walpole. We also know that John of Lereringfot was a respondent at his vesperies, along with Simon O.P., William of Neuport, Adam of Elingham, and William of Erpingham, but we do not know who the presiding master was.
