Vesperae
Vesperae database is a repository tool which aims to collect and gather historical information, textual proofs, doctrinal theses, biographical traces of authors that performed principia before reading on the Sentences of Peter Lombard in the Medieval universities all across Europe.

| vesperae.author.education | Very few dates describe Walter of Knolle’s life, and, fortunately for us, most of them regard his academic activity. Successor to Nicholas of Ockham, he was the 19th lector of the Franciscans at Oxford, where he incepted in theology around 1286-1287.
